The Water Lilly Brand...How it Came About

Welcome to Water Lilly Holistic Healing, a brand that I am very proud of. Located right here in the heart of Aylmer, Ontario, a small town that I have grown up in my entire life and still call home with my husband, daughter, and three puppies.

The inspiration behind the name is my 14 year old daughter, Lillian (Lilly) Westman. The name started when I opened my photography business 9 years ago and I knew I wanted to somehow incorporate my daughter's name into my business. I thought on it, and that is when Water Lilly was born. I still do photography, but not as much as I used to, as my passion shifted to a more holistic approach in my life. I became a yoga teacher, and then Water Lilly Yoga was born. I love teaching yoga. It drives me to help so many individuals through breathwork, meditation, and the poses of yoga. I have even branched out my practice more recently into children's mindfulness and yoga here in Aylmer, Ontario.

Fast forward to December when I became a Reiki Level 1 practitioner, and then in January I became a reflexologist, I knew that my brand had really expanded. I have since become a Reiki Level 2 practitioner, and the healing energy that I have experienced has been such a beautiful blessing. I love helping my clients through Reiki because it is such a beneficial healing modality for everyone to experience. Foot reflexology also has amazing benefits because the feet have connections to every body part and organ in the body. By working through and releasing blockages within the feet, many clients are able to experience relief in areas of tension and discomfort. Hearing the positive stories from clients after treatments is one of the most special things, and as a practitioner, helping people heal and feel better has become the greatest service I can offer.

My stepdad was a great skeptical client. When I first told him I was going to “rub his feet,” he did not think that was a good idea. Ha. But after his first 30 minute treatment, he left relaxed and his feet felt better. The next day, he reported to my mom that his knees and hips felt better than they ever had. Cue the happy dance and the “I told you so” moment. That day, he became a believer, and I am so blessed to be able to help him and change his mind.

So at Water Lilly Holistic Healing, I offer yoga classes in the Aylmer Ontario community, reflexology treatments, Reiki treatments, and coming soon, one on one holistic coaching and planning. Changing the direction of my life and others, one client at a time, one healthy mindset at a time. I am forever blessed to be given the opportunity to help so many people live a more holistic life. I hope that one day I can bring a little magic into your life. I promise you will not regret it.
